Gifts That Thrill is a website that specialises in experience gifts, offering over 840 experiences ranging from pampering packages, family fun days, adrenaline-fuelled power trips and a range of exclusive hand-picked experiences that are not available anywhere else.

 
   
The brief
Christmas is the biggest sales period on the retail calendar. Gifts That Thrill turned to Keep Left to help it achieve cut-through during the cluttered Christmas rush, and create a point of difference that would make it stand out as something new and different during this key sales period.
 
   
How we helped
Keep Left developed a campaign that catapulted Gifts That Thrill onto the media agenda, generating a storm of coverage around a new Gifts That Thrill property called ‘Skydiving with Santa'. Keep Left devised ‘Skydiving with Santa' primarily as an exclusive picture opportunity for the Herald Sun , however, securing 80 year old Val Woodman as the first person to take up the seasonal experience greatly increased the news value of the story.
 
 
     
 
The results
Gifts That Thrill racked up coverage on Channel Seven's Sunrise, 3AW's Mornings with Neil Mitchell, Nova 100 and Vega FM – to name but a few!

Supported by an ongoing campaign of targeted media pitches, and the development of trends based demographic material in association with demographer Bernard Salt, the entire Christmas campaign generated 28 individual media hits in just two months, reaching up to seven million Australians across the Christmas gifting period.
