Citrus is a digital agency providing a full suite of interactive services including digital strategy, creative web design, branded eCommerce and relationship marketing. The company works with a number of leading brands including Sportsgirl, Sussan, Toys R Us, CPA, Victoria Racing Club (VRC), Transurban, Sydney Turf Club, and Queen Victoria Market.

 
   
The brief
Citrus embarked on an aggressive growth plan and engaged Keep Left to assist in generating awareness of the agency and staking a claim in the digital space.  Citrus also sought to position the agency as a digital hot shop to attract the best people and clients and open the door to securing flagship brands.
 
   
How we helped
Keep Left developed a three-tiered PR strategy encompassing an initial media relations campaign to take Citrus' story to market and put the agency on the marketing media's radar through a series of media briefings and a steady stream of news stories. Using the media as a conduit, Keep Left also positioned Citrus as a thought leader in branded eCommerce by showcasing its award-winning work with Sportsgirl. Keep Left has also pursued speaking opportunities for Citrus CEO Peter Noble to build its profile and assist with lead generation.
 
 
     
 
The results
The Citrus PR program is still underway, but so far has achieved regular media coverage in key media outlets including the AFR , The Age, BRW and marketing media trades such as AdNews and B&T News . Citrus has also garnered thought leadership coverage on branded ecommerce and online retail trends and a speaking slot at the ADMA Forum.

Citrus is also now actively pursued for comment by marketing trade journalists. Citrus's targeted media exposure and awareness generated by Keep Left has also resulted in several business development leads.
